By car: We recommend
  • travelling from Germany over the Fernpass towards Imst
  • or via Garmisch-Mittenwald, then through Seefeld, Moesern and Telfs on the main road B171 to Oetztal via Oetz in the direction of Ochsengarten
  • or take the Inntal motorway (A12) exit Haiming-Oetztal via Oetz to Ochsengarten (10 km)
  • or from the Inntal motorway (A12) exit Kematen or Zirl-Ost into the Sellraintal valley to Ochsengarten (33 km).



    • Train by train to your holiday: Travelling by train is very convenient. There are direct connections from various countries to Ötztal railway station, which is located at the entrance to Ötztal. From the station forecourt you can continue your journey by bus. The train is also a stress-free alternative for excursions in Tyrol, to Italy, Germany or Switzerland. From there by taxi or with us to Gasthof Waldesruh. (contribution towards expenses)
